This piece was inspired by an eye drawing I made and an old Photoshop experiment called "Eye Carpet" I made while studying the graphic arts in 1996. An endless sea of eyes is staring in endless sorrow, partly obscured by little paddles of tears, at the endless sea of nothing that is apparently before them.

I started by making two layers on Photoshop Elements, one of an eye and one for the water spot, then I duplicated the layers and changed their size.
